About Us

Ciao Parkinson’s Millbrook began in 2006 in support of family and friends diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s disease.  It became our mission  to join forces with The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research and our passion to help them find a cure.   Team Fox member, Brenda DeLuca had already started her fight for her friend Kurt a few years prior and inspired us to create Ciao Parkinson’s, Team Fox, Millbrook  to join in her fundraising endeavors in honor of Kathy, Deb and Ann’s sister, Sue and Joanna’s Dad, Drew.

After hours of meetings, ideas, and planning we decided to have an annual dinner dance.  Now in our eighth year with the continual support of community members, businesses, friends and family we have raised over $100,000.00 for The Michael J. Fox Foundation.   During this time we have met many new friends who have shared their fight with Parkinson’s with us which has given us additional strength and determination to continue our fundraising efforts on behalf of all who are affected by Parkinson’s Disease.

On February 8th,  we will be putting that strength and determination to work by holding our 8th Annual Dance For A Cure at the Millbrook Firehouse.  It will be an evening of dinner, dancing, raffles and fun!!

We look forward to your continued support.  Let’s find a cure!
